Father God,
I come to you today to ask that you would protect our children this year at school. Protect them from every illness, from gang violence, from drugs. Father, protect them from active shooters, car wrecks, bus wrecks. Suicides. Pedophiles. Human trafficking. Bombings.
Father, protect them from rape, incest, bullying, cyberbullying, deformation of character, liars, cheaters.
Protect them, Father, from teen pregnancy. From injury during sports...concussions, broken bones.
From tornadoes.
From cancer.
Father bless our children this school year with thoughtful friends, helpful teachers, kind and understanding, but firm administration.
Bless our children with integrity and courage.
Bless our children this year with strong men and women role models, safe environments to study at home and at school.
Bless them with the ability to make morally right decisions, especially when it comes to plagerism and cheating.
Bless our children, Father, with strong faith and a church to grow that faith in.
Thank you, Father, for another year. Thank you for our children.
